Every year, the Njuguna family prints an annual photobook to keep the entire year, captured & bound forever. Each year usually has a theme.
The first, ‘Beginnings’, there were pictures of the newborns, those newlywed & numerous beginnings they’d embarked on that year.

The following year, ‘Celebrations’, carrying the essence of joy, parties & gatherings.Every spread, a window into their lives, their successes, their holidays, birthdays & extravaganzas. No matter the occasion, every image held a story, a laugh or a tear frozen in pixels.
However, a turning point came around the 4th year. The theme, ‘Absence’, marking the loss of Mr. Njuguna. Memories curated with painstaking love, a tribute to lives well-lived. Yet, the tradition didn’t falter, it strengthened, transforming into a testament of their resilience & love.
Over the years these photobooks have become much more than mere mementos. They serve as silent narrators of the family histories, whispers of past echoing in the present. Special editions have been shared with friends, birthing a bigger community.
Their story is a beautiful illustration of the magic that unfolds when people, places, & pictures thread together in perfect harmony. Through the years, they’ve helped us, ‘Photozuri’, understand that what we do is not just about printing photos, it’s about cementing tales of joy, sorrow, love, friendship, & creating pieces of art that will be passed down for generations to come.
Thus, we wait eagerly for the photobook orders, their themes, their stories, bated breaths for another chapter in the legendary tale of The Njugunas.
